RaGnAzN
Okay, here is my current computer setup. 1.2 Ghz Tbird, 256MB ddr ram, FIC mobo, hercules fortissimo 2 soundcard, Intellimouse V3, and an ati radeon 64mb ddr VIVO card. I play Q3F (www.q3f.com) and SOF2. In both games they are really really demanding now and in sof2 i get like 40 fps at max settings at 800*600. Should i get a GF3 TI200 for 135 bux to hold me over in both games at 1024*768 with max settings till the new line of nvidia cards come later this year; or should i go with an OEM GF4 TI4200 with 64mb ddr for 168. How many fps could i expect in SOF2 at 1024 with all eye candy on in multiplayer on decnt sized map like RMG one with both cards? Thanks for the help. Ecander
Well I had a 1.4Ghz 266FSB athlon with a radeon 8500 and 512mb PC2100 DDR ram and with all the eye candy on the only tolerable res I could get (60+ FPS) was 800x600 I upgraded to a XP 2000+ and I run great in 1280x1024 now If I had a Geforce4 Ti 4400 which you can get for roughly 225-280 USD on the web I could easy get great play in 1600x1200 due to the fact pretty much all Ti4400's can easily overclock to the Ti4600 spec and beyond definately a great buy if your looking to upgrade and can afford that much.
