0 Kusanagi
God, I love Trillian! Since I tried it for the first time (0.71 was the version number), I loved it and dropped all msn/aim/icq clients at once! I can't even imagine myself going back to those... First app I always install on a new fresh windows installation is... winamp, but the second is Trillian! :D
0 ZeroXero
I mainly only use MSN messenger, and I prefer msn too. However it's a very good program and I reccomend you try it out. - ZX
0 xWeston
i liked it in the .6 days, but then i just switched to only using AIM+, i dont have many icq or msn buddies anyway. It is a good program though, but i dont like their new default skin.

0 SimGuy
Trillian OWNZ. No more memory-bug ridden ICQ clients, AIM clients that look like **** and MSN Messenger clients that have ads popping up everywhere. It's one of the most useful programs that I use (next to IRC and FTP). :D :D :paranoid: :ponder:
0 BeeJay
I can't even remember the last time I used another IM app. In case you are unaware AOL occasionally tries to kick 3rd party IM applications off of their AIM network. About two months ago, AOL kept modifying their servers to disallow unauthorized apps from using their service. Every couple of days the Trillian developers would have to release a new patch. This went on for a couple of weeks before AOL gave up. The authors made it known that they would not give up on AIM support! Anyway, it is a great universal IM app and I stongly recommend it to all of my friends. ;)
0 Intrabyte
only thing I use is msn, and aim for voice chat... weird though cause my voice doesn't work in msn, but aim yes... I tried trillian, but some features missing or bugged. might wait for futur releases to see how good it will end up with

0 hurting101
It's good, yes, but it screws up if you try and use over one MSN login. It adds all the people from one list to another :s. But if you only have one account I guess it's fine. But I use MirandaICQ which I would recommend much more (but it only has ICQ and MSN support)
0 Tesseract
Trillian is a great chat client. It does not take up that much memory, nor does it throw ads at your face constantly. I use it often.

0 shockz
I think its great! I like how its skinable and you can run two of the same services at once. (Like 2 AOL Screen Names at once). At first I just used it for AOL because I liked the look, but now I use it for everything.

0 ftboomer
It's great if you have people on different IM's. I know people on ICQ, MSN and AOL. Instead of running 3 programs, T does it all.
0 BroChaos Veteran Posted June 13, 2002 Veteran Share Posted June 13, 2002 well i agree with the rest. very good program, still a few bugs to be squashed, features to be added. but when it comes to multi-client chat, trillian wins hands down. 0 TommyTourettes
Been using it and loving it since sometime in late 2001. I haven't noticed any bugs aside from the occasional disconnects from different services, but those are very rare. Of course there were those days when AIM was fighting Trillian and I would occasionally actually have to use AIM, but other than that(which obviously isn't Trillian's fault) it rocks. Still a few features missing that I'd like it to have such as Yahoo chat support and webcam support, but I'm sure eventually they will be implemented, as they are very common requests on the Trillian boards. 0 kintamanate
i tried trillian for about a week..then deleted it. havent looked at it since. unless they clean up the "features" and "looks" i probably wont ever go back to it. i just stick with msn messenger (polygamy), icq, irc, and neowin. 0 whipper25
can't go wrong wit trillian..especially if you have multiple IM accounts.. i don't like the default skin either, but c'mon guys..it ain't that hard to apply another skin which you prefer..they've done an outstanding job with the bugs (especially that whole AIM connectivity issue..looks like AOL gave up :) ) hands down, the best multi-chat client app..then again i haven't really tried any other..i refuse too ;) btw, i think the best skin is TinyTP2(blackmod).. 0 Quboid
I love it - I have friends on MSN, ICQ and AIM ... makes for a cluttered taskbar. It is difficult to get set up initially, but once you work out the logic behind it, it's easy enough.
0 SuperJediMedia
I have some Trillian Questions. In the preferences. Events tab: 1. Play Inbound sounds only if windows is out of focus? 2. Suppress Contact list sounds after 2 seconds Windows tab: 1. Attach to container "Away" when away edit: ok I see what this one means, still not sure about the events ones What does these mean? Thanks in advance!
0 Skarlath Amon
1.Play sounds only when out of focus - this means that when the im window that your currently talking in is the window your looking at, then it won't play the sounds, if it isn't it will so that you can see the changes 2. This means that when you first sign on and it loads every one who is up it assumes since you can now see them that they are all just logging in... (minor bug but it doesn't bother anything) so it turns the sound of after 2 seconds of logging on so that way your contacts don't keep making the annoying beeps (specially when you have a lot of em) hope this helps USE TRILLIAN - IT R0X0RZ Y0R B0X0RZ
0 LunaC
I've used it for ages, never found any real bugs (except that it sometimes says I'm away even though I've been chatting the whole time). I do wish there were more skins for it though. So many themes are missing a matching Tillian skin.
