em_te
Is there an extension similar to User Agent Switcher, but that only changes your user agent when you visit a particular website? I need it to visit the Firefox extensions website since I'm still on Firefox 1.0.3 and it is blocking my browser. But I don't want to have to keep on changing my User Agent to IE everytime I visit it and I don't want to keep my UA on IE either, since I want the other sites that I visit to register me as a Firefox user. And don't tell me to "just upgrade" because I don't have time to upgrade yet and will be doing that next week. I'm only looking for a temporary solution. em_te
keep your UA on IE until you've stopped visting the site and then change it back? 585912460[/snapback] That's what I'm doing now, but I frequently visit the extensions site (to monitor the comments on the extensions) and sometimes forget to switch the agent which is annoying. em_te
Nevermind I found the solution, which was so easy I don't know how it could have slipped my mind. I just created a new user agent type and set it to spoof Firefox 1.0.4. So now I'm still a Firefox user and I can still access the blocked site!
