alsheron
I've been using both IE and Firefox for a while now and i'm just getting started selling on eBay. I use IE sometimes because some websites don't work properly in FF and are designed specifically for IE. Does anyone know of any issues with using FF and eBay? Thanks.... :)

abc@home
Ebay does not fully work in FF. Ebay awares of it but they are not going to fix it any time soon: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=259344&start=0 "We appreciate your information and want to let you know that we are aware that you're not able to use the Standard view of the Description area on the Sell Your Item form if you're using the Firefox browser. eBay continually monitors the use of different types of browsers by our members and as soon as a larger percentage of eBay members use Firefox than use it now, we will be re coding the Sell Your Item form so that Firefox users will be able to view and use the Standard description box. In the meantime, we recommend that you use the Internet Explorer browser, as this browser is able to view the Standard area of the Description box on the Sell Your Item form. In summary, we continually monitor the site in order to expand its functionality for all types of browsers, and we will code appropriately when we see a larger percentage of members than we see now, using browsers other than Internet Explorer." IceDogg
Most people in the thread say they don't have problems using Firefox on ebay. I have only ever had one problem on ebay and that was a bug in Firefox that was fixed long before version 1.0. Since then no problems. I don't sell much I must admit.
