Bi0haZarD
First off... this is to help me with Firefox.... keep your "use Internet explorer" attitude to yourself. I hate IE and always will. ok.. now that i got rid of the IE lovers lol. I don't use tabbed browsing. I guess i just hate looking up there for my links.. anyways.... when i click a link in google or somewhere else a previous instance of Firefox gets taken over... example. I'm browsin Neowin someone mentions something about their Yahoo mail getting boosted up to 5 terrabytes ( ) so i hit start menu -> Firefox and go to yahoo... ahh damn i didn't get the 5 terrabytes... but i got an email that says hotmail went up to 50 terrabytes.. so i go to open the neowin firefox window but its not there... insted i check the back button history on the email and see that neowin is in there... ok that was a long example, but i hope someone out there knows how to fix this or knows what i'm talkin about lol. :B: Rex
i hate tabbed browsing..i always want a new window..not reuse the existing window well when i hit Start/firefox, it opens my homepage in a new window.. try your settings.. Tools/Options/Advanced/Tabbed Browsing checkmark--> "open links from other applications in "a new window". also add the "new window" icon to your toolbar, right click your toolbar and "customize" drag the new window icon onto it .. then you just hit that instead of Start/Firefox.exe (the new window icon is a white rectangle with a yellow + sign) open a new window anytime you want heres a sweet tip, just hilight the word/thing you want to look up, drag that word to the new window icon and a new window opens with the top google search selected if i do that with "yahoo" it opens a new window to yahoo.com
