bangbang023 Veteran Posted May 17, 2005 Veteran Share Posted May 17, 2005 a lot of it will come down to what you listen to. XM has MLB which would be a huge selling point for me.
Steven
XM has over 4 million subscribers. 7 out of 10 people choose XM over Sirius. XM has Portable units with recording features , Sirius has fishfinders w/o recording features. XM Has Opie & Anthony, MLB, NPR, NASCAR, Golf XM has a better standing in the Stock Market. Sirius has Howard Stern (2006), NFL, NHL, Tennis & Martha Stewart... Sirius has about 1.2 Million Subs. I have XM. I listen to Opie & Anthony. Howard Stern is a lying tool. If you want to test out XM and hear its programming live check out the free 3-day online trial @ http://listen.xmradio.com

docvenom04
I guess I'll go with xm :p 585935682[/snapback] Wowo your a quick sell. I have had both and honestly Sirius beats XM hands down. When I had XM, the programing seemed very bland. I love the programing of Sirius better than XM. Why not listen to both and make a decision for yourself. ;) http://sirius.com
Wado
I think Sirius has badly over extended themselves with the recent buying orgy they have been on, Stern alone will cost them a major portion of their income. When you add in the NFL and NASCAR in a couple of years they are actually counting a growth in their subscriber base that would exceed XM's. I will be surprised if they survive, at least in their current form.

Sirius is basically FM without commercials... XM plays more songs that you might not know...so if you want to occasionally discover a band, go with XM
