This would indroduce the bug that make the progressbar go to far or to short in some cases though.

Looks good, but whenever I minimize a window while trying to copy a file, I see it screw up a bit. Areas where the progress bar shouldn't be filled in get filled in, and I don't like that "bug".

Yea... but that doesn't happen with the current progressbar I think. :huh:

So there are 2 bugs if I go back to solid progressbar. :p

2 bugs + I like block style = No change ... for now.

Ok, v3.1 beta is ready. Send me a PM if you're intressted in testing it.

Edit: I can't connect to my server space atm. If you PM me I can't reply util I can connect there.

Changelog:

* Rebuilt LE from scratch. Might have introduced new bugs (the reason for beta test).

* Tweaked a lot of values.

* New close button for tray balloons (not the one in java test versions)

* Last and most important, theme now works for people who coudn't run it before (hopefully) and java issue fixed (hopefully).

LunaVX uses a similar solid type progress bar and there are no issues with it. Maybe if you checked it out and compared notes with your's you could squash the bug. Just a thought..

Here it is, Luna Element 3. A new version of the visual style some say is the best theme ever. It is based on Luna, the Windows XP default theme, and some stuff are still in original design so I can't take credit for everything. I hope you like it though.

Run the installer and if you have patched uxtheme.dll you can now change theme under Display Properties > Appearance > Windows and Buttons.

This VS includes 8 styles:

* Normal

* Normal Alt. Startbutton

* Noraml Compact

* Normal Compact Alt. Startbutton

* Royal

* Royal Alt. Startbutton

* Royal Compact

* Royal Compact Alt. Startbutton

The theme was updated: 2005-05-20

Current version is: 3.0

Changes in v3.0:

* new captionbars for all styles exept Royal (Royal is improved a little though)

* improved caption buttons for all styles

* improved taskbar (just a little)

* improved green startbuttons (might be a problem for languages where the text is not "start")

* improved scrollbars and spinners

* improved buttons (tiny change)

* improved some stuff on startmenu

* improved startmenu menu hover, now look more like default menus

* improved taskbar menu (grouped taskes)

* smaller scrollers by default for compact styles

* improved startmenu menu

* improved progressbars (just a little)

* 2 extra pixel in height for compact taskbar

There are probably more, just can't remember everything.

And don't forget to let me know what you think :)

this is VERY good! it would be excellent this way... however, I still agree that it's better to keep with the actual one if this is what corrects the bug.

but I still believe that there is a way to fix the bug, so we can have the bar shown above that makes my BitTorrent looks much more beautiful and readable, AND in bugless way :D

I guess everyone would he happy with that

Once you've run the LE3.exe, go into display properties>Appearance then select it from the list.

That is, providing you've got the modded uxtheme.dll installed... you DO have the non-microsoft uxtheme don't you?

    • What about it? The old MV2 version will not work.
    • Wow, this is some Iran, Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea-level citizen surveillance right there, the UK's government has gone totally mad. Power trip indeed, their politicians are totally out of control about this issue. They're starting to cross limits I wouldn't have imagined, to be honest. British people, fight this, your privacy and freedoms are in danger. Vote this government out of power.
    • Nintendo unveils The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and it's out this year by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Confirming many rumors, Nintendo officially announced a remake of the classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the very first game in the series that offered a 3D experience to fans. Unlike previous remasters and re-releases, the originally 1998-released fantasy adventure game is being remade from the ground up for the Nintendo Switch 2 console this time. "The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2," said the company about today's announcement. While Nintendo didn't go into much detail about the project, other than confirming its existence, we did get a small teaser trailer at the Direct presentation today. Catch the footage below: With a tapestry as the backdrop, the first half of the trailer tells the tale of Hyrule, the Kokiri forest dwellers, and their fairy companions. It goes onto introduce "one particular boy" without a fairy, which then cuts to a sleeping Link, showcasing what looks like the new art style being introduced in the remake. Unfortunately, no gameplay or a look at the world has been revealed yet. The game originally released for the Nintendo 64 back in 1998, offering a time travel adventure where Link is once again going up against the evil king Ganondorf. The hugely well-received title has only been playable on modern Nintendo consoles using the Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Nintendo Switch 2 doesn't have a firm release date yet, but Nintendo says it will be released sometime in 2026. Considering just how many publishers are avoiding the Grand Theft Auto VI release nowadays, the company may copy that strategy and also opt to bring this out before November this year.
