Stop giving me crap for the new progressbar people. :( Many of you where complaining about the old one to when I introduced it. When I first posted the screenshot of the new one everyone was impressed and thought it looked good. I like it myself and I'm not changing back because imo the old one sucks.

I appreciate everyones oppinion and comments about everything regarding the theme, but I am the designer here. :)

The Master Has Spoken

There's not many "thumbs up" for the new progress bar is there?!

Not that I know but is it possible for the theme to use the new progress bar if using the Royal theme & the previous version for the default theme?

My reply wasn't a complaint, it was a question. :)

This means I have to remake LE from scratch :p Oh well, I'll take care of it as soon as I have some time. Send me PM's if people experiencing this issue want to try production betas, just to insure nothing goes wrong.

I just tried the test skin and to my surprise...no more Java bugs!! Thanks em3 for fixing this, as well as those who helped along the way. :)

Glad to see the test skin is working with Java. Good luck making the necessary changes to fix it in the official release!

About the new progress bar... at first I thought it was odd, but now I'm liking it. There was something about it like it was too bright or too blocky when the rest of the style was smooth, but now I find myself watching it way more than I have watched any other skin's progress bar. That's got to mean something doesn't it?

Here is an other java issue test. Please test to see if it works. :)

Btw. I think I will bring back the oldstyle captionbar in the next release. Hopefully that will make people who still use LE2 to switch to LE3. It's hard to please everyone but I'm trying my best. :)

Edited by em3
he addressed this issue earlier...he said that's the only language it will be in, the reason for this is because it may cause the layout of the button to be adversely altered if it was displayed in another language other than english...

Ok. so what the hell is supossed I should do now; get stuck in LE2?

Please, help me, Im too bored to fix it myself.

I liked the new progress bar, it looks very good here in Firefox, and many other stuff.

Unfortunately, my BitTorrent stays ugly with this new progress bar, as there is written text above it, and in the previous bar it stayed excellent. I always loved the old bar, and I didn't ask you to change it to a new one, just fix the old bug, that used to be fixed in LunaElement2

Yeah, it means you must be blind in one eye, and have trouble seeing out of the other. Or maybe you have been permanently hypnotized by the blocky choppy action of it.

In any case, the only option anyone has is to get use to it, or use an older version (like I am). It's em's baby, and he says it's not gonna be changed cause he likes it. Sure glad I saved the older versions..

em3,

Ok, although you now have to 'start fresh' with designing another LE3.xxx VS, I can happily report that your 'second test file' also properly shows the Java Control Panel buttons skinned...

As with any fine work(s), your original LunaElement up to LunaElement3.05 has generated a lot of views and interest by users, and of course with this vast exposure will come both negative and positive comments...

You have learned to handle your replies with dignity and tact, and that is to be admired...:) As looking/staring at another version of LE (I'm sure) could cause one to think, "Man I'm tired of this"...lol

Please keep up your high enthusiasm of your talented skinning skills..

The new progress bar really detracts from the smoothness this vs once had. It now looks like the progress bar on thousands of other vs's. Pretty common, and not very "smooth".  This is still a nice vs if you stick with version 2.5x.  JMO

The new progressbar actually have all the same properties a lot of other stuff in the theme has. It has a dark border, then there is the gradient background with a light inside border. The same as the caption buttons, regular buttons, start button, scrollers, etc. :)

Ok. so what the hell is supossed I should do now; get stuck in LE2?

Please, help me, Im too bored to fix it myself.

English is an international language. I'm swedish myself but I don't mind english at all. Do you get this upset when you download applications in english to?

opera and bit torrent will luck fugly from now on... :(

Ok, why do you use Opera? It isn't free and if you don't register or pay you get an ad banner. :p Firefox is the way to go dude. :)

Bit Torrent is illegal, if you use it to download movies and stuff that is, which is what most people do.

Also read my first answer in this post.

*!* i have an idea! what if u kept all those aspects of the new progress bar but apply it to the old progressbar? so that instead of the broken up pieces, of the old progress bar it can be 1 long piece of all those things combined, that makes it easier to read text behind and please the asthetic beauty that it now has...

    • Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion to bring snowy region, new updates also coming by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Capcom had a surprise waiting for Dragon's Dogma fans today in the Nintendo Direct presentation. The company revealed an expansion for the second installment with a name that should be familiar to series veterans. Coming later this year, Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is promising a massive new region to explore, new monsters, fresh skills to learn, and more. The studio says players will be heading to the Northern region of the world, named Norgan, to find new secrets about an undying "Fallen Dragon." There will be forgotten relics that the protagonist can find to unlock fresh weapons and skills the expansion is introducing. Players will also be able to find mysterious equipment from a previous Arisen as a part of the expansion, all part of 12 Lost Rites Dungeon Challenges they must complete to gain access. In Neowin's own review, I found Dragon's Dogma 2 to be an impressive RPG when it launched back in 2024, giving the title an 8.5/10 for its class variants, companion system, and immersive exploration. "Once a prosperous region of the kingdom of Vermund, it was abandoned many years ago for reasons unknown," says Capcom about the new region. "Long has it been since any soul traveled its paths. Blanketed in heavy snow, these frigid lands are home to savage hordes and creatures of unbelievable power. Those who are capable of vanquishing such fearsome foes, or those who possess a keen eye for exploration, will find themselves rewarded with powerful relics." Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion launches on October 9, 2026, with a $29.99 price tag. Ahead of the expansion release, Capcom is also planning to release two free updates to the base game. The first will land tomorrow, June 10, bringing more accessible fast travel with an Eternal Ferrystone and other quality-of-life adjustments. The second update will land sometime in August, aiming to improve frame rates, add more save slots, and bring even more community-requested adjustments. This expanded Dark Arisen edition is also launching on the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day the content comes to PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
    • Classic themes are just the colors on the bar like the olden days, if you use the image themes, it does fancy transparent backgrounds and it makes the elements of the app look like they are transparent bubbles. This sample image shows what it looks like.
    • Good point, unfortunately. NextDNS has far more filters and workarounds than uBlock, and it's easy to implement.
    • Windows 10 KB5094127 Patch Tuesday improves File Explorer search and more by Taras Buria The June 2026 Patch Tuesday updates are here, bringing mandatory patches to users with PCs enrolled in the Extended Security Update program for Windows 10. Microsoft is rolling out KB5094127, with build numbers 19045.7417 and 19044.7417. Changelog includes the following: [File Explorer] This update improves File Explorer search, including support for Chinese text, and UTF 8–encoded files without a byte order mark (BOM). Text now displays more clearly and consistently across search results, Content view, and tooltips. [Secure Boot] This update enables dynamic status reporting for Secure Boot states in Windows Security App. This update adds a new policy setting, LimitSecureBootRequiredServiceData, under Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Secure Boot. When this setting is enabled, Windows limits the Secure Boot service data it sends by suppressing the event normally sent to Microsoft. This policy is also included in the Windows Restricted Traffic Limited Functionality Baseline package. For information about the policy, see Manage connections from Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating system components to Microsoft services. With this update, Windows quality updates include additional high confidence device targeting data, increasing coverage of devices eligible to automatically receive new Secure Boot certificates. Devices receive the new certificates only after demonstrating sufficient successful update signals, maintaining a controlled and phased rollout. As for known bugs, Microsoft has the following to say: A workaround is available in the official documentation. Today's updates are available for PCs enrolled in the Extended Security Updates program only. If your PC is eligible, you can download the update from Settings > Windows Update or from the Microsoft Update Catalog here.
