thedoors27
Now don't get me wrong I do use Firefox more than IE but recently, well for a while I have noticed Firefox doesn't block as many pop ups / unders as it used too. One site for example is mess.be using Ie the pop is blocked but with FF it appears, I have no sites in my allow list, have the latest Ff and have no spyware on my comp. Any ideas/ anyone else with this problem?
zhangm Supervisor Posted May 23, 2005 Supervisor Share Posted May 23, 2005 I'm not getting any popups on Mess.be using Firefox. What version are you running?
thedoors27
FF 1.0.4 :(
theyarecomingforyou
I get popups with Mess.be, using 1.0.4 - advertisers have recently found ways to bypass Firefox's popup blocker. I haven't seen a good plugin that works yet (without blocking every window, included desired ones) but I expect one will be made soon. :/

zhangm Supervisor Posted May 23, 2005 Supervisor Share Posted May 23, 2005 You hit Winkey + R, type in Application Data, go to Mozilla > Firefox > Profiles > *Your Profile Name* > Chrome > install there.
TYT
Many thanks, Relativity_17. Installed the files and so far so good. TYT
TYT
Hmmm... seems I cant find the edit button. Nonetheless, Relativity_17, i've noticed that the userContent.css file blocks some drop down lists in VBulletin for the font type, font size and color and sofourth. I dont suppose you'd have any idea on which line to edit for that, would you?? TYT
