Raditz
Every time i connect to neowin or google, opera sends a call to 127.0.0.1. why is this? This dosen't happen when connecting to any other website. Neowin is not my home page and i don't use the address as a proxy. its not much of a bother but it seems to increase loading time. Just wanted to know what's causing this. :ninja:

Chillbo
I think it is because of the "Server Name Completion" setting. It is searching for a local network machine with that name. Depending on your version of Opera: Tools | Preferences | Advanced | Network | Server Name Completion Then Untick "look for local network machine". Let us know if that works. Do you have any strange configurations or are you using a proxy? Edit: Are you using GWA? Edited May 23, 2005 by Chillbo
