Verbose.
I think I remember a way to do this through about:config but I can't find anything here (I'm pretty sure I found the details here). The reason I want to do it through about:config is because I'm using a nightly build of Firefox (1.0+, May 15) and Mozex is only compatible through version 0.9. Does anyone know how to do this? CoolCatBad
I think it should be somewhere in the 'network. protocol-handler.' prefs.
Kreuger
* type about:config in the address bar * Right click on the list, select New, then Boolean; insert network.protocol-handler.external.ed2k as Preference Name and true as Value * Now another right click, select New and String; insert network.protocol-handler.app.ed2k as Preference Name and /path/to/ed2k (path to where the file is installed on your system) as Value. From The aMule help page The wonders of what google can do for you... Edit: google.ca, search for "ed2k firefox"..first link that appears, tells you how for all major browsers. Verbose.
Thanks Kreuger, I'm really thinking about switching from lmule (or rather, xmule now) to amule. Xmule's uninstall procedure is kind of tricky it seems. It looks as if there's a lot more functionality in amule. Doh, it turns out I did find a link to the aMule team website by searching Google, only I didn't scroll down far enough. I see you use Debian Unstable... I use Debian Sarge.
