Remember these ICQ99 features?

Question

Do you still remember the ICQ that had a bunch of features like Sticky Note, todo list, Event Scheduler, Alarm...?

Why didn't they carry over? Not even as optional plugins, huh?

i hear that

i was an avid user of icq.. and really pushed it on friends and such..

but then it got too busy with buttons everywhere.. and i started to hate.. and felt stupid for, pretty much, forcing it on others. :ermm: then i switched to msn messenger

but.

yes, i do remember them coming out.. and i remember not liking them :D

ICQ 99 was great! I had way too many sticky notes all the time. LOL I could hardly see my desktop. :)

Then out came 2000..... then I moved to Trillian :)

Exactly my point and the interface could use some serious re-working. It is horrid navigating your way around through all those useless options. Keep it lean and mean. MSN and Trillian does the job without the fat.

that's why people use Miranda ICQ. you can have all your stinky notes, alarms, todos, etc as plugins...you want it, you load plugin. you don't want, you keep using it as it is.

Hey, I just found very old ICQ 99 Contact list backups!

Does anyone know where there is tools for importing some of the Contact lists from old backups and merge them with the NEW ones?
