Shane Pitman
I visit a particular web site that refuses to open in Firefox. Is there a way to create a desktop shortcut that will open in IE even though Firefox is my default browser?
hurting101
Use the following as the target (in a .LNK, not .URL): "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" https://www.neowin.net

1WayJonny
What i do in situations like this is My Computer (any windows) /Tools / Folder Options Go to list the fily types then find .LNK do not change this but add this :: IE :: (Name/Label) and you can give it a some launch options such "c:\blah blah\ie.exe" www.neowin.net this way you right click the file and the second sontext option is the command i do that for winrar *.rar so i right click and hit extract and goes to D:\Temp works like a charm
