STanger
that doesn't work with 1.0.4 and I'm not going to change the extensions version number in about:config to get it working either ... I install it and I get "not a valid install package" errors <edit>there should be a way to do this without any about:config hacking...now I'm getting "extension not compatible" errors</edit>

supernova_00
Stanger: you can't use the builds that you are using now....you can not use the default branding (FF icon in top right or anywhere else in the program) start off here http://www.mozilla.org/MPL/mpl-faq.html Also Asa is gone for the week Edited May 29, 2005 by supernova_00

STanger
how would adding that text in the titlebar constitute a change in the binary? and what builds am I supposed to use?
supernova_00
even changing one pixel would change the binary. thats just how things are. you should compile your own build and when you do that you use some command in your mozconfig like -official-branding or something liek that to take out the official branding, then you use the default unofficial branding or customize however you please
STanger
then that would kinda defeat the purpose of it all ... guess I'll just include it without any changes cuz the computer I'm on now takes forever to compile anything eh I'll just forget about it .. I thought I'd have to compile my own build .. just don't have the time right now .. my plate is rather full with my kids and everything else but I'll get around to it sooner or later I guess thanks
