Here's a little thing I noticed in this style:

http://www.public.iastate.edu/~bearoso/image.png

The fonts are different in the window text area and on the caption buttons of the original blue style. The other three styles match each other, only the blue is different. This is with the new one, Watercolor 4.3.

I knew about this, I was just too lazy to fix it. shhhhh ;)

Chris

I really wish there was someway for the menu highlights to have a border. >.<

NOOOOOOO!!! Not in this version, go post this request in the Watercolor Plus thread.

Chris

Thanks Tim...it's better than nothing man. :D

It's Great!

Nice Work Tim. Fit's in with the whistler style perfectly. Only things I would change are the two sliders, to match the theme better :)

Chris

any chance for the blue taskbar with the white apple?

There will NEVER EVER EVER EVER be an apple on any of my Windows themes, it's Windows FFS!! Not trying to be rude, just trying to get the point across ;) I HATE when people use the apple logo in msstyles, even if it is a mac port.

hahah good one,

Tim: do you have a set i can load into the msstyle through reshacker. like xxx.bmp or whatever.

not yet but i'll work on something, want to see whats going on this this watercolor plus first :)

whoa, ok dont go nuts but come on even you must admit Windows machines are just fugly as hell. But then again people who use computers for a "practical use" dont seem to care, god mine as well give em a god damn console. I'd still like to see the blue thin taskbar even with a white windows sign in it, something other then the boring windows taskbar. It just reminds me of being stuck in a monotone cubicule for the rest of your life.

hmmm like I said I was just getting a point across, I wasnt trying to be mean :) Why have apple logos plastered all over a windows machine? It just doesnt make sense. And no, I nor any other people in this part of the forum are likely to say windows is fugly. We love customizing our machines to make them look good, and thats why we are here. Thats an insult saying our OS is ugly :( At least windows is way more customizable than OS X ;). Not trying to start an OS war, but it's true. And I'd much rather have Watercolor than Aqua. Pinstripes can get annoying after awhile. In any event, tacking on an Apple logo to watercolor wont make it look any better, so I strike down the suggestion of any apple logos in my theme! ;) :p

Chris

i just installed the lastest version but i still have the problem ive attached a pic of the prob in the pic all of those startup items are selected but only the one ive selected shows

Yeah I have the checkbox issue too - on my laptop - which doesnt have the same color depth as my tower boxes - that is my biggest gripe about WC cos my laptop gets as much usage as my other machines - and this is a bummer

ok binary so you think its only a coincidence that you and a very small group of other people are the only ones not using icons or theme designed for macs. I dont want to insult YOUR os but i'll insult the hell out of mine. The way windows was origionally designed was all monotone with no sence of color, it was designed to stick somone in an office and keep them consentrated on work without any other stimulis to be creative, its designed for monkeys. And now with luna they attempt to give a splash of color to the user but even it looks god awful, the only reason why i use a pc is because everything works with it, unfortunatly since people have some sort of bias to macs theres not much out there for them.

A large number of people here use watercolor, and other non mac styles. And an even larger number use luna, because they dont know about skinning. Don't get me wrong I love mac's and I am going to buy one. However a windows theme doesnt need apple logos on it when it is on a windows machine. I dont mind an apple logo in an Objectbar theme, but thats because it is meant to precisely mimic the mac menubar, wheras there is no start menu on a mac, so the start button should not be an apple imo. Like I said before, replacing a flag with an apple doesnt make any difference to the visual quality of the skin, slapping a mac logo on a skin doesnt make it look better.

Chris

I have seen them somewhere in this thread or an older watercolor thread, try the search feature "watercolor winamp" :)
