Working desktop to blue screen and back...

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm having a new weird problem with my mini. It's a fresh install of 10.4.1, i've got running Entourage 2004 and MSN Messenger.

When working with whatever applications, from a working desktop, my screen change to complete blue and then returns to the working desktop. No error message, nothing...!!!

And this happens alot! I don't know what to do! No screensaver activated, no powersaving.

So is this a bug with 10.4.1 ?

Have you made any modifications to your Mac Mini??

I use the exact same programs, and have no issues with it :pc:

I have the problem even when i'm not working with the mini.

I did not have that problem with 10.3.8 !!!

Have you tried doing the microsoft auto update feature, in case that is causing it?

If it is a :pirate: copy, you wont be able to do it though :ninja:

Eh could you explain that? How exactly do you have the problem when not working with your Mac Mini?

I never heard of the problem you're describing before, and it only happens when using Microsoft Office 2004 or also when using iTunes and Safari for example?

If it is a :pirate: copy, you wont be able to do it though :ninja:

Ah, mine is the student edition that is floating around :)

Looks like some are and some arent throwing the error - I googled the error code, and some others have come to the same conclusion. :)
