lol its probably the EXACT same gui (without any noticable cept rendering changes) as 5.0/5.1

well i'm gonna post 5.1 just cuz your macless (this is a screenie of one of ie on one of the puters i use)

You don't buy it. You get 20mb plus a lot of bandwidth for free per signup. You can buy additional space off of Apple though.

but the only bad things are that u have to have a mac to sign up (with os 9 or higher), but u can use the file manager thingy on windows n u can view email on ie or whatever or with oe/outlook xp/outlook 2k

I thought the whole piont of getting a mac was to get away from M$?

windows-wise ya ;), but most mac users who i know (excluding anyone at school), use IE since they HATE netscape 4 (this is for os 9 and lower)

and in some cases ppl need word/ppoint/etc for exchanging with windows users since VERY few ppl on windows own AppleWorks 5

No, you're right. 5.2 does support AA but the default fonts that MS use don't lend themselves well to AA.

Anti Alaising and yes, it's similar to cleartype.
