L3thal Veteran Posted June 4, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 4, 2005 I was wondering 2 hours ago when a new version of ZoneAlarm would come out. Thanks for the news!
Dazog
This version has alot of serious bugs. I would not install it. This is coming from an official beta tester. Incase anyone doesn't want to believe me.
richter
Added link, that's why it's called beta. This has just been posted in case anyone would like to try it. I hope everyone knows beta software is not to be installed on stable/production machines.

But when I got the email, I was told it was a closed beta, and downloaded it from the closed part of the site. Same file version too ?!?
MrBear5587
Thanks for the news. I was also wondering about ZoneAlarm 6.x the other day, looks like its not going to be too far off
richter
It does not look different. It's same old ZA. I am testing ZAP, and it has minor quirks - shutdown takes longer and anti-spyware definitions don't update. Other than that, everything works as usual. Boeing 787
This is pretty bad as far as bugs go. The new antispyware part is pretty good but the outbound firewall is really messed up. I'm going to try and reinstall it and see if it doesn't fix the bugs.
