Tikimotel
Use Upddrv2k.exe to update your current drivers... Mine where the official creative ones from November 2001. They're Whql-ed. It's got a new devldr.exe and a newer sblfx.dll.

I updated, and it took a while too//just have to wait a little...when i did it, it took like 7 mins and then the taskbar icon just disappeared, no pop ups or nothing, so i checked the device manager and low and behold the drivers were updated to 3521. pts_ordos
Are you sure this driver is really-really from Creative. I've installed this driver, but it made my Creative SoundHQ and some of Creative audio software (like mixer) not working. So I re-installed my old driver and everything went back to normal.:alien:
Daybreak
So is devldr32.exe really needed for playback? Otherwise what exactly is it?
