thingsforjason
well take a look at this...Tom's VGA Chart http://www6.tomshardware.com/graphic/02q2/...acharts-05.html Just figure that the TNT2 is at the bottom of the list now...and that your card *ahem* sucks more than that :D *cough* so on that 3dmark bench, they're showing roughly a 5x increase...so yeah. figure it out from there. :)

brn2prgrm
I've been asking myself this same question also, but I have a Diamond S540 (Savage 4) now, which doesn't seem like that good of a card, and I was looking to upgrade to the 4200, maybe even the 4600 if it's worth it. Any opinions on how much of a boost my system would get with the 4200 and 4600? Thanks!

Is this just a question or you planing on buying one? DDR or RDRAM is best for these new cards and at the least AGP4X On Your Motherboard. The M64 is the crappiest of the TNT2 Series, even if you when to a TNT2Ultra you'd see a big improvement. The M64 is a Clocked Down TNT2 its very poor. mcb
SPECS: Dell Dimension4100(11/00)|PIII 866MHz|256MB SDRAM|Nvidia TNT2|40gb HD|Turtle Beach Santa Cruz|(former) @Home Cable|Windows XP Pro| so the system is about 18months old. here are some requirements i found for Visiontek's ti4600: Requirements ? 250W power supply or greater ? IBM PC or 100% Compatible ? 266 MHz or higher CPU (AMD K6-2 or Intel Pentium II or higher) ? AGP 2.0 Compliant Socket ? CD ROM drive ? Windows 95 OSR2, 98, ME, NT 4.0, 2000, XP ? 64MB of RAM so i'm definetly in there
