jefexp
Please help me. I am unable to play any videos within IE. All I get are the player buttons (Play, stop, etc.), but no video. This has been happening for about 2 months now. I have reinstalled Windows Media Player, changed almost every setting within IE (I am back to defaults now), but nothing I do fixes this problem. Please look at the screen print and provide any suggestions. Thanks. (sorry, can't add the screen print). What is shows is all of the buttons for Media Player at the top of the Player box, and the rest of the player box is just black. The buttons are grayed out. iron2000
Same problem here! But I've yet to find a solution. I tried to uninstall but the restore point is long gone. Forgot how I came to do a reinstall. But it didn't work here too. Posted in MS's WMP Newsgroup but no one replied. Anyway had you been deleting files, shrinking the WINDOWS folder? Anything you remember doing before you had this problem?
