y2ken
When I try to, "right click>save image as", from a webpage the only choice given is .bmp, but the address bar says it's a .jpeg and 'properties' also says it's a .jpeg How can I save it as a .jpeg?! This only happens on one website. I know I can convert a .bmp to .jpeg but don't want to have to go through the extra step over and over again unless someone knows how to convert multiple .bmp's to .jpeg's in one step. I had this problem once before when using dial-up/Compuserve and it had something to do with a setting for compressed graphics. If I allowed the use of compressed graphics I could save images in .jpeg format. But it was a Compuserve setting, not a Windows setting. ???????????????? IceDogg
This is in IE right? Not downing IE mind ya. Just asking. I ask because I use to have an older computer with a lot less RAM and if I had IE and a few heavy memory usage programs open it would do that. I could get it to stop by rebooting and only opening IE and going back to those pages, then it would work right. I don't know if this is the same probelm you are having but I thought I would share that incase it would help.
