voodoo 5500 PCI with onboard graphics

Recommended Posts

Hi, im wondering if anyone can help me, i own a voodoo 5500 PCI, which works fine under win 98/ME when i have an onboard Graphics card aswell (intel 810 4MB), but if i try to install win 2000 it will not boot up, but when i take the voodoo 5 out it boots fine, i think it may be conflicting with the onboard graphics.

I had onboard video on a really old PC, I had to make sure it was set in the BIOS to look for the PCI card first.

thanks, any other suggestions?, i did look in the Bios and all it said was "add on VGA" or "Integrated VGA" or summit like that. i tried putting it to the integrated to see what would happen and nothing came through the monitor until i pulled the monitor cable out of the V5 and put it into the onboared graphics.

I bought a PCI PNY GeForce4 64mb MX400 for my docking station so when my wife docks her p3 500 laptop she can play highspeed games like undying, and jedi knight 2.
