Best GeForce 4 Ti4200?

Recommended Posts

Whats the best G4 Ti4200? Right now I'm thinking of a LeadTek WinFast A250 TD w/ 64megs of RAM cuz it has a good cooling system but its 64 megs and costs $177USD

So my question would be should I get this or a G4 w/ 128 megs of RAM? Or is there a better one under $200USD???

Thanks!

The cooling looks good but does anyone know of any probs with it!?!?

Parents are freakin out its $179 (its their money lol) and I need to know if its worth it for those extra ramsinks... :D

OR I was thinkin of Abit Siluro (dont think i spelled that right...) Any way both are 64 megs but siluro is like $20 cheaper...

So I just want your guy's wise suggestions ;)

Thanks!

With that 600 MHz Celeron, there's no way you're gonna get the full potential out of any of these graphics cards. But the choice is all up to you. Anyway, I'd go with the geforce line of cards. They are just awesome. But stay away from any of the MX line.

The Gainward card is very good. I am planning on buying it myself.

Read About It Here

But at the end of the day, you got to compare prices, and look for a card that has the features you want.

get the MSI one! I just read a review of the card today and it's damn impressive. Overclock potential sets it to ti4600 speed and a little over. (3.6ns ram, better than nvidia's default ti4200 spec, which is 4ns) It costs $150 US and comes with 3 FULL games in slim cases, not cheap ass envelopes. Just for the extra cookie, it also comes with 7 demo games.

There are a lot of users having problems with the Gainward cards, i dont know if this was a one time issue, or that its the same with all card, i say go with Asus or Winfast, i also heard the XFX versions are pretty awesome...

Leadtek has the best cooling for maximum overclocking, plus if you get it from newegg its only 170 bucks. I havent found a review for the Leadtek 4200 but if i do, ill post it. If you want best overclocking results go for the leadtek, the Gainward obverclocks well also, and is a few bucks cheaper. Its up to you..

Anyone in Canada see them for cheap. The stores seem to be artificially jacking up the price even though the exchange rate is actually getting better. The Ti4200 cards I've seen are $340 and the GF3Ti200 w/ 128 MB of Ram are still around $225.

Sucks to be Canadian eh? at least for computer parts.......

grrr msi!?!? that thing is off reference designs which can be good or bad depending on how they do it. but by reports, msi's way of doing the ti4600 and ti4400 sucked. so i wonder about the 4200

visiontek..... best of the best

i am a pround owner of the visiontek gf4 ti4400 and it runs great on my system and peforms way over what an equal machine running gf4 ti4600 would run because of o/c and what not.
