Chris123NT
Well i got myself a nice new Lian Li PC-70 server tower over the weekend. I did notice one thing however. The front intakes have that dust filter thing. With that thing on my case temps are 3C hotter than without the pad. What do u guys reccomend i do? leave the pad in or get rid of it? Kusanagi
I would get rid of it... but make sure you clean your hardware once in a while with a swab and isoprophilic alcohol ;)
gandolas
It depends... if your tower is in a dusty place... if it's on the flour... :ermm:

GrymmWolf
Go to your local discount shop and buy a package of those plactic scrubbing pads (4-6 in a pack) cut to fit. Found this filters quite a lot (got pets...) and tho I still gotta swab it out occasionally, it helps. These have a better air flow than a typical filter. Hope this helps. username
from what i have read, if you have a window, they are a must, but if you dont, who cares about the dust, its fun to cleanout sometimes, amazing how much builds up in there
