deepfriedmario
1. I am looking into importing some DVDs from America, I know I will need a multi-region DVD player for this. My question is, would I need a NTSC compatible television as well as a multi-region DVD player to play these NTSC DVDs? 2. At the moment, I have my DVD player connected to my 50-inch television by AV cables. Can I improve the image quality from DVDs if I used component AV cables? bangbang023 Veteran Posted June 11, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 11, 2005 1) You could try to find a multiregion, multiformat player. There are DVD players that do both PAL and NTSC 2) Yes, component would give you much better.
deepfriedmario
Thanks, but for the first question, I mean do I need a NTSC compatible television plus a multi-region DVD player to get NTSC DVDs to work or only a multi-region DVD player? I'm wondering this because on the Amazon website it says I do need both but it doesn't sound right.
