iwod
I find some site's flash uses very high CPU usage. I have a PIII 1Ghz Laptop with 380Mb of Ram. And these website are taking 100% CPU usage!. My laptop can render Mpeg4 H.264 Video without going over 50% usage!. What is the matter with these Flash!
deadlogics
Flash usually doesn't use much resources and runs smoothly even on my P3 700MHz. However some large, detailed or poorly made animations may require a faster processor. There might be also a memory leak that causes Flash to "eat" your processor time and memory. Try to reinstall Flash or test how it behaves in a different web browser.
iwod
Well so far IE behaves the best.... while Firefox seems to be having trouble now and then.......... looks like i need to investigate this issue further.
Mike Frett
I've seen this also on several computers. 100% cpu usage when running a flash game or whatever inside a webpage.
McLuke
Do not use full screen. Some flash is only designed for small window such as 320*240. If you use full screen, the rendering of details can eat all your CPU. Some flash game also needs run script all the time. Also, new flasher may not know how to eliminate uncessary movie clips and this will also let flash run very slow.
