And the point of this thread is?

These are the findings of the Education State Rankings, a survey by Morgan Quitno Press of hundreds of public school systems in all 50 states. States were graded on a variety of factors based on how they compare to the national average. These included such positive attributes as per-pupil expenditures, public high school graduation rates, average class size, student reading and math proficiency, and pupil-teacher ratios. States received negative points for high drop-out rates and physical violence.

I wouldnt say this is "smartest to dumbest"

A more accurate header would be "quality of public schools"

Whoever wrote this article as such is a big ****ing idiot.

And whoever read this article and thinks it means "smartest to dumbest" is also a ****ing idiot. :pinch:

#1. Our education system here is such a mess. We have extremely good schools that are swimming in money and cost a fortune to get into (i.e. Milton Academy, M.I.T. Harvard, etc.). And then we have dirt poor schools. Your quality of education depends entirely on where you live. The High School I went to ranked #8 in the state, but this was because of the teachers. The school itself is poor and rundown, so much so that it was in danger of losing its accreditation. The town now has to pay tax hikes to give the school some $50 million to renovate.
