Please say ur joking ok? Go into ur bios and adjust the FRONT SIDE BUS (FSB) and increase the core voltage. And oh one pointer if u have a dell/gateway/HP/sony or any other name brand computer u can't overclock.

ugh from the looks of it, it doesnt seem possible that you built the system so chances are (unless it was like a microcenter or other small comp machine) its not overclockable. and on top of that, judging by your newbieness, i would recommend reading up on this for a good month before you do anything.

hell if you still want an answer to this, chances are neither. but also there is a chance that it can be either. maybe its dipswitches on the mobo, else its bios settings. depends

what kinda of computer did you have. I doubt you built it so then that means mommy bought it for you and then that means she bought a dell or gateway or compaq right? If so then don't bother trying... it's hardcoded NOT to overclock!

grrrr how can that be a pain in the ass. i do it every single time. i take pride in installing new versions and praying for a performance boost or stability. and why you dl from dell. go direct to the chipmaker of each device! if you hate dell like that, dont do to them to dl drivers. most likely it wont be the newest ones anyways
