Netscape 8.0xx

No I disagree about it being better than Firefox.

Although NS8 is definately better than IE6.

I am trying it and I must admit, I am very impressed. Not a single crash...yet. The features are awesome.

Honestly I have been tasting many differnet browsers for a while and I must say Netscape 8 is making me happy. I have been a FireFox user for months and I absolutely love the browser, I ran across sites that would not display properly. The feature set in NS8 is awesome (basically FF + a few extras) and it gives you the ability to display a page using IE engine. Sweet idea! Props to the Netscape designers, well done. :D

Pros:

Form Fill

Webmail integration

RSS feeds

Security Center

Firefox engine + IE6 engine (you get to choose!)

I agree with Bhav, it's horrible.

How do you make a bad browser? Simple. You take all of the work you put into a good rendering engine (Gecko) and then make that optional so people can use the worst rendering engine (MSHTML) available, you try installing adware on the user's computer, you release the initial browser knowing that it has security and usability issues, you theme the interface so it looks like rotten salad with mashed olives on it, hype it up to be one of the most secure browsers available, and then release an update 12 hours later that patches a security problem that was well known before they released the first version.

Netscape 8 is total hogwash.
