If you do not want to know who won the women's quarterfinals match today between Maria Sharapova and Venus Williams then don't read!!!! The other match has been delayed by rain.

Venus pulled off the upset against Sharapova in straight sets. 7-6(7-2), 6-1. I was rooting for the Russian but now, I'll pull for Venus in the final whether she faces Davenport or Mauresmo.

I think by now everyone should have heard one way or the other about who actually won lol. And maybe at her prime Venus was better than Maria but IMO Venus isn't anymore. I mean she may still win a tournament here or there but Maria will be more consistent in reaching the later rounds if not winning the whole thing.

i like davenport even less then i like venus.  lindsey is very boring to watch, and she always seems to lose when i watch her...

although it is odd to see a possible all american final given the number of russian women...

When was the last time we had an all-american final at a Grand Slam? I know it wasn't TOO far in the past but I honestly don't remember. Was it when the two Williams' were on top of their games? Or did Serena face some Americans in finals after Venus dropped off? Anyone know?

Well that all-American final is exactly what we got. Davenport won 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

And Federer's defending his title. Beat Hewitt soundly 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4)

Roddick has great chance to win cause I think Federer isn't at top skill but Roddick will have to show amazing control and maturity , every mistake you make is a score for Federer

Federer is great too , I like how plays with aggression he doesn't miss a chance to score

Results follow of the men's semifinal match below

Roddick vs. Federer again. Roddick won 6-7 (6-8), 6-2, 7-6 (12-10), 7-6 (7-5). This could become a great rivalry if Roddick ever wins one. It's like the Ynaks and Sox were until last year. They were only rivals nominally beuase the Yanks always won when it mattered. Pulling for A-Rod as usual. I hope he at least makes it a good match. Federer made Hewitt look like an amateur.

What a great match!!! There were some cross courts shots that were unreal. They both made shots that looked impossible at times. It was a great display of excellent tennis. That one 25 stroke rally decided the match I think. Didn't expect such a great match. I hope the men's final can live up to this. Congratulations

      Yes I know how pinned apps work. Do you? How else do you expect to open these pinned apps if not with the mouse? The arrow keys? The way it works now is much faster. Just type the first two letters of the app you want to open and press enter. For example, to open notepad, I just type no > enter and there it is. This is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
