thedoors27
What "nightly build"? It is a normal firefox like 1.04?
jakej
Why? You can easily uninstall it  586098188 That would leave registry keys in which he doesn't want... Any changelog?
Lee G. Veteran Posted June 21, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 21, 2005 Why?? You can easily uninstall it?:unsure:e: 586098188 I installed Firefox once and later unistalled it. After rebooting I searched for 'Firefox' in my registry and found many entries despite the browser being uninstalled. I use IE as my main browser and Portable Firefox for Neowin and viewing web pages that I have made (to see if they look OK both in IE and FFX). That would leave registry keys in which he doesn't want... 586098212 Correct. Thank;);)

beanboy89
From the Mozilla Foundation Quality Assurance and Testing Blog. http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/qa/archives...ox_105_tes.html Firefox 1.0.5 test builds availableWe expect a Firefox 1.0.5 release in the not too distant future and we'd appreciate any help you all can offer by downloading and testing out these new bits. The changes that need the most testing coverage are in how the UI widgetry works. Our preliminary testing doesn't turn up any issues, but patches similar to the ones we've recently taken in the 1.0.5 development builds have created some small bugs in out of the way places in the UI so please poke around and let us know if you find anything not working as it did in previous 1.0.x builds. I mean, every once in a while I'll have to use IE, but very rarely!
SerialStorm
If it is a nightly then it is not exactly firefox, their Beta Nightlies are called DeerPark.
joshpo
I thought Deer Park referred to 1.1 development
beanboy89
Aviary Branch nighty = Firefox 1.0.x - Stable. Same branch as other Firefox 1.0.x builds. Uses Gecko 1.7.x. Trunk nightly = Deer Park Alpha(1.0+/1.1a) - May not be stable. Development only. Will become Firefox 1.1. Uses Gecko 1.8. The Firefox 1.0.5 builds are from the Aviary branch. zhangm Supervisor Posted June 22, 2005 Supervisor Share Posted June 22, 2005 Always good to see another update. Still, I don't think it will be enough to drag me away from Deer Park and Gecko 1.8...
