TheAZN303
When i play pariah, it seems to randomly crash from 'general protection fault'... I'm updated to the latest patch... And also, since i'm running a GeForce 5200, i tried editing the Pariah.ini to lower the detail for some unavailable settings in the menu. [Engine.Engine] RenderDevice=D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice Whenever i try changing the render device to OpenGL.OpenGLRenderDevice, pariah doesn't start. So would't it be safe to assume pariah doesn't have an OpenGL mode? [Engine.GameEngine] UseStaticMeshBatching=False Out of interest, what does this do? [WinDrv.WindowsClient] NoDynamicLights=False TextureDetailInterface=Normal TextureDetailTerrain=Lower TextureDetailTerrainLayer=Normal TextureDetailWeaponSkin=Lower TextureDetailPlayerSkin=Low TextureDetailPlayerFace=Normal TextureDetailWorld=Low TextureDetailRenderMap=Lower TextureDetailLightmap=Lower TextureDetailNormalmap=Normal TextureMaxLOD=0 TextureMinLOD=0 NoFractalAnim=False Whenever i edit the texture details.. the game doesnt start.. either that.. or it was another setting.. Is LOD is level of detail? [ thats all ] Thanks for ne info Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/335003-pariah-performancecrash-problems/ Share on other sites
