Do your fans and stuff come on when you hit your power button? If not, then you need to hook up your power switch to the appropriate pins on the motherboard.

If your fans do come on but you just aren't getting video it is possible that you may need to re-seat your video card or ram chip(s) or maybe even both.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1.) Verify All Cables / Connections to and From the Motherboard

2.) Verify proper chip seating.

3.) Verify proper memory seating.

4.) Remove all Cards (Except Video) and attempt boot. If sucessfull, replace one card at a time until problem reoccurs...

5.) You have reached the end of the Troubleshooter, please shoot your computer and start from scratch. ;)

Good luck!

make sure your motherboard isnt grounding out on your case, and make sure your cases standoffs are lined up with your board, like take the board out and put it on a piece of cardboart and atempt to boot, if it starts then its your motherboard grounding out on your case and not getting any power, atleast thats what happend to mine before i got it working

ok, took chip out. rest it. did not use soap and water. just used goof off. no pins bent. should i try wiping off the chip again with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and then put it back in and turn on again?

Try killing the power to the PowerSupply.

Then holding the power button in for 10sec.

Then give it power again, and hit the power once..

That worked for me a while back, and a couple of friends too

That wire was what I was talking about in my previous post. Glad to see you figured it out. ;P
