Initial 2k2
Recently I got a 1.6a P4 Northwood for overclocking usage.. anyone have any experiences with it, and suggestions on voltages, fsb, etc? How high do you think I can get with the stock cooler? Should I get a Thermaltake Volcano 7+? Do I need a different motherboard then the MSI Ultra 645 (SIS)? Thankz :D PS : Board comes with Fuzzy Logic 3, I've never used the program before, does that automatically clock it and test it?
nohoy
ok well heres a little list of heatsinks that you can use to compare http://www.overclockers.com/articles373/ that also has a really good forum for what else but overclocking. and here is what they have for an overclocked database for the p4 1.6a http://overclockers.cssftware.com/cpudb/Showdata.cfm but i wouldnt trust all those values. oh ive never used fuzzy logic either. and i dont think id go volcano. but its whatever you really want that it all boils down too. (oh and if you think your gonna get a delta and sleep with that on, well just dont be dumb and do that) oh and sorry no clue on the motherboard either.
