cyclingplatypus
What is the browser that doesn't need to be installed and can just be unzipped and ran from the folder that is in? I used to have it and can't find it anywhere on my hdd, I do remember it was a gecko based browser and I thought it was kmeleon but that one is installed. Thanks in advance. cyclingplatypus
Wasn't Firefox, it was a zip and you just unzipped it and it was ready to use. How would one use Firefox without installing?

mAcOdIn Veteran Posted June 24, 2005 Veteran Share Posted June 24, 2005 I've seen several on majorgeeks that were like that, but theyr'e a little misleading because they're just front ends for Internet Explorer. I used to use one back in the day called Voyager, it's still available on Majorgeeks.com, but like I said it's really just a front end for internet explorer so it's not really contained in a zip, even though it doesn't have to install.
