Mother sets her daughter's rapist on fire

Recommended Posts

Finally someone does the vigilante action that I wish our coppers could do without tied hands

My only problem with the situation was that he lasted only 11 days - IMO dying is an easy way out.  The least the hospital could do is whatever they can to keep him alive...

lol looks like we were thinking the same thing.

another thing she could have done to him was urinate on him while he was on fire, that would have been pretty cool lol

think about that for a moment. she would have to stand over the guy while he was burning. wheres the fun in that? its not like shes a guy so she could get a safe 4-5 ft from the guy and play firefighter.

Awsome, a happy ending for once!! That's justice!

Soriano's attack on the woman's teenage daughter took place in 1998. The girl was going to buy a loaf of bread when Soriano snatched her from the street, threatened her with a knife and raped her. Her mother is said to have suffered mental illness ever since.

Soriano was convicted of the rape and ordered to serve 13 years in jail. The sentence was later reduced to nine years on appeal.

So, she did what the system failed to do, good on her.

Yep- he deserved to suffer. Shame he had to die when he could've suffered for life though.

I'm still not happy with the death penalty, for the pure undeniable fact that they do sometimes get the wrong person.

He may have been sorry for what he did, but then again, he may have been glad he did it. Burning him wasn't necessary. He should have been shot in the leg or something, and thrown off a cliff.

lol yes more like shot in the leg set a fire then tosed off a cliff then shot in the chest befor he hit ground.

I don't agree with what he did, but setting him on fire? Killing someone doesn't solve anything. Now I can only hope that justice is served this boy and the mother is arrested and sentenced to jail for life!

Shortly after, the woman walked into the bar, poured a bottle of petrol over Soriano and lit a match. She watched as the flames engulfed him, before walking out.

Something sounds fishy there. This women is able to pour petrol on someone in a bar and ignite him without anyone else in the bar noticing? Has anyone over there ever heard of "stopping the crazy women"?

if something like this happened to you or you daughter or mother, see if you are so forgiving. Zero tolerance also sends a message to those who are thinking of raping, look at how low the crime rate is in countries that have death penalties and such, like the Saudi.

I don't think I would change my mind about killing someone else. Life is a gift and I am not willing to take that away from anyone! I do not agree with rape, but I also don't agree with murder and that is what this was, murder! The women needs to be thrown into prison and the damn key lost!

wow... anyone who rapes a young 13yr deserves something not sure if it's this or not but... poor girl... not really feeling sorry for the guy at all for what the mother did, but for a girl that age to have something like that happen to her geez.....

Given the right circumstances you will be very willing. EVERYONE is capable of murder.

"this boy"? "no one noticed her pouring petrol"? Did you read the article? Did you see how this old man had no regret, and TAUNTED the mother of the girl he raped?

Antonio Cosme Velasco Soriano, 69, had been sent to jail for nine years in 1998, but was let out on a three-day pass and returned to his home town of Benej?zar, 30 miles south of Alicante, on the Costa Blanca.

While there, he passed his victim's mother in the street and allegedly taunted her about the attack. He is said to have called out "How's your daughter?", before heading into a crowded bar.

That is the second and third paragraph of the news article. Kinda hard to miss.

If I even knew if someone was thinking of rapeing my kid I would beat the hell out of them with a wet fish. Then let the fish rape them if you git my drift.
