After i open msconfig and i found an windows installer describe as unknow~. I open the services control and i found windows installer on a temp file called ipx, but when i try to star the program give the error n.?3 How can i reinstall windows installer? 0 krshna Posted June 24, 2002 Author Share Posted June 24, 2002 i already was there and i made a regedit /sever to resolve this problem but didn?t work... and that windows installer wont work in xp, cause they say that can be install on xp or deleted.... i can instal many programs, but the ones with extension ,msi abort the instalation, like diskeeper and o&o defrag. o&o defrag for 2000 i just instal and no problem at all, only have problem with that extension .msi. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
