A designer (or tatoo artist in this case) may modify certain font characteristics to adapt the letterforms to better suit his/her particular layout. Or in this case, the artist may not be skilled enough to reproduce the letterforms exactly. Or Mrs Beckham may have supplied the art herself. In other words, fonts are malleable.
