0 3nd3r
yes i have used it I will tell you what Lindows OS is It is a stripped down version of Debian Linux and a custom "****ty" distro of wine. Thats all folks
0 techquilla
nope, but i doubt it is much different from other linux distros...... its just "linux + wine - source code + fee = lindows" nobody is gonna buy that thing........... linux users are able to configure wine themselfs..... windows users wont even boder since both charges for the operating system................ 0 techquilla
Originally posted by lazydesert what about new users? well, i doubt there are mcuh new users of computer these days but if there are.............samething..............when they go to computer store, they'll usually demand something that's easy, and widely used...........i mean, i don't think a computer newbie will want to start with lindows (when they don't know linux or windows) ............lindows is just for people who want to use linux, but suck at it, and want to use windows application on windows and don;t know how to configure wine.......(but i doubt they are willing to pay the fee)

Debian is the hacker Linux distro of choice because of the kernel. their kernel is the best there is. Now windows XP: it runs windows apps and a 2 year old retard can make it look cool as hell. "no offence to the 2 year old retards" ;)

They use different versions. 2. There are "custom" tweaks to the said kernel version (Mandrake, for one, has made changes to the kernel). All *linux* distributions run a linux kernel originally downloaded from www.kernel.org, and modified to that distributions taste. Pfft. They don't use different kernels.
