Tristan9669
Does anyone know about anything that would let me refresh a certain web page constantly(or auto F5 script)? Either for IE or FF.

abc@home
AFAIK there is no such function in IE, but most IE shells like maxthon have this function.

Not helpful I know. 586172603[/snapback] And I've made it publicly known to Opera Software that I do not appreciate that feature and wish for it to be removed. Its only purpose is Denial of Service attacks because sites that need to be reloaded often will reload themselves. I created a post/topic about this on the Opera forums about a year ago but I can't turn it up in the search results on their forum (to be honest, I only checked the first 3 pages of results, I couldn't be bothered to look anymore,) I'll be sure to include it in my next list of suggestions that I post in their wishlist forum. I do not like this kind of crap.

The request will only be sent after the webpage is completely loaded so it wouldn't be exactly load every X seconds. Even if an attacker open a lot of window in opera to do the request, he will most likely bog down his own internet connection before he could do any damage to the server/site. i personally use this feature when viewing live score from ESPN. Kushan
Go look up software called AutoIT, if you want simple scripts and bots for any program, it's the way to go. It uses it's own simple scripting language that even an 8 year old can understand.

It most certainly is not designed (nor do I really believe it could function) as a DoS attack. It's for user convienience.
