How to disable automatic opening PDF files in IE?

I tried everything I want to disable auto open of PDF files...

I tried to remove the plugin but doesnt work it automatically open it in Adobe Reader!!!

I want Internet Explorer to ask me to download PDF files!

I also checked the option in File Types -> PDF -> Confirm opening file after download... But it doesnt work either.

It's hidden in Acrobat, open it up, then Edit -> Preferences, Select Internet and there's a checkbox for "Display PDF in Browser", should do the trick

Doesnt work... Downloads the file automatically, open Adobe Reader and sometimes closed immediately.

It should be :

Folder options -> File Types -> PDF

Check option: Always ask before opening this type of file.

I tried with Doc and some other files and it works!

But it it doesnt change anything with PDF!! :angry:

Adobe Reader is stupid... It overrides Windows options and doesnt care about what you configure.

"Always ask before opening this type of file" works for every files except PDF...

I re-enabled "Display PDF in Browser" and then disabled the plugin in Explorer but PDF files still opens in IE.
