cdrwin doesn't burn properly, what's wrong?

Question

I'm getting really annoyed, by not being able to burn cdrwin images (.bin, .cue). I've tried cdrwin on 3 different computers/burners. I'm able to burn ISO images, make iso images ...

but when I get to burning bin/cue files It would burn fine, but cd won't be readable aftewards. I have tried several different cds, and same result. I've tried it on my dell inspiron 8k with sony cdrw 700e and plextor 16-10-40 and plextor 24-12-40. I always check cue file where it says usually cluster to be 2352 bytes, and have tried to include/exlude raw writing mode but no luck

any clues, please!

thanks

Are you using a legit copy?

Goldenhawks protection burns coasters on copies with bad serial keys.

Yeah, use NERO or Fireburner, and also - If you enter an invalid (pirated) serial or whatever, CDRWin won't complain. It will appear to work fine and even go through the cd burning process but your finished CD will be a coaster.

This is according to several mods on the CDRLabs.com forums.

[EDIT]Damn, I was beat![/EDIT]

The scheme that Golden Hawk used for making coasters when using invalid or pirated serial keys is illegal. And they have been sewed for that.

Obviously version 4.0 of CDRWin is out, and I don't believe the protection scheme is implimented in version 4.0, so if your'e going to pirate CDRWin, you better look for Version 4.0.

Fireerburner ...is the second best and fastest one for them...use it all the time...now instead of CDrwin since it don't support my new 48x lite-On yet

Ppl... try Fantom CD... makes up to 31 virtual CD/DVD-ROM, from almost any type of image, and burn the images too....

Go here...

Just try it... I only use one tool for every image around... ;)

thanks guys!

it seems to me that noone uses cdrwin :) I guess it sucks, but why are so many images on the net in form of bin/cue (probably more than in clonecd format) ?
