Video of Korean police dealing with protests...

I am not saying what they do is good, but look the people do go away in the bus etc... I am sure that in most countries protesting people don't listen when they get warned. In that video the people will think twice before taking any actions again. ;)

Are you kidding me? There is no way to justify the way those protesters were being treated. Regardless if those policemen were doing their jobs, how can you explain the complete and utter disregard for someone just sitting or standing being attacked??

Did you see that one guy that just stood there and got the shield to the face?People protest everyday.I don't see them being treated that way. It may have happened in a country where things are done differently, but those are humans not dolls,to be thrown about.

wait till the 12th july in north belfast and youll see police brutality

Barbaric. It's dispicable to think that this country's actions can be taken as 'civilized'.

The UN should step in and intervene.

If it wasnt for the uniforms I would have said the police were the angry mob. If you ask me I think police being that brutal is out of order. I never saw any of the protesters attacking the police first.

I didn't watch th eentire vidoe, adn whil eI will admit they did seem a bit heavy handed. That said, with respect to not seeing the protestors attacking, this is a highly edited video. For example the brick being tossed - do we know if the policeman who threw just received that brick to the face 5 seconds before?

Edited videos like this should really be viewed with a certain degree of scrutiny.

Yeah perhaps your right, it probably is quite a biased video. Still I think the police being so brutal is unacceptable. Alot of them seemed to actually want to hit other people as much as possible. If you watch when they bundle them into a bus they just smack some guy for no reason a few times. And when them people are sit down protesting they grab one by the legs and drag him into the police side and hit people in the gutter. I think the police should be disgraced, its hardly like they arent well protected and armed in comparison to the protestors (not rioters I might add). I also might add these are human beings they are beating, not dolls.

I thought South Korea was ok, and that North Korea was the crazy communist one...?
