Heh...Im English.

And I don't support the London Bid, for the simple fact that it's in London.

Most stupid idea ever.

In fact why does everything have to go to London? It pees me off BIG time.

What with the abortion that was the Millenium done etc.

So Go whoever else....but not France obviously, because there's just no need for frenchies.

I have and still do boycott everything French.

/rant over

YES!

Now I can start a savings fund and begin planning.

Has anyone been to an Olympics before? When do passes usually go on sale?

I'm glad NY got booted (I'm a NYC resident)

1. good tickets will go mostly to corporates. it's like that with most events in new york. this will not be any different. same goes for jets games.

2. complete disregard as how to traffic would be affected in manhattan. building a stadium blocks away from lincoln tunnel is retarded. there is enough traffic as it is. we don't need traffic being backed up into the 70/80s because of some sporting event

3. we need more middle income housing than we need the olympics or a jets stadium. if there is so much concern about an underdeveloped area in Manhattan, then there should be some thought as to what the city needs most.

I didn't want to win it, but just to see the cheesy grin wiped off Chiracs face made me happy :)
