todd
Uh oh. There are so many programs that use Zlib. This has the potential to be a huge problem.
Pink Floyd Veteran Posted July 8, 2005 Veteran Share Posted July 8, 2005 yup foobar is the one I know. You need zlib for a plugin. I dont remember if this is albumart or something else
Vykranth
Well, it already happened last October in ZLib 1.2.1 and the nice developers made ZLib 1.2.2 available a few days after. Changing between ZLib 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 is pretty painless. Of course, there will be a huge amount of programs that will have to be updated.
ichi
There was already a new version available on portage yesterday (zlib-1.2.2-r1). Glsa-check shows no vulnerabilities on that package after upgrading.
