Nickel
On older computers, I am able to use things like the zoom features on Google Maps (http://maps.google.com), but on my newer Dell computer I cannot. I have went through the advanced settings under my internet options and changed anything that I thought looked related. I have put my security settings on low. I run Norton Anti-Virus and WinXP. Does anyone have any idea why this would not work on my computer? Thanks for your time! Edited July 9, 2005 by Nickel

SergeantNoob
did you enable Automatic image resizing in Internet Options -> Advanced?
benjeeeboy
You can see the maps on google, but not use zoom correct? Because if you couldn't see them than that would be a security issue (it uses an activex control in ie to load the images). When you mouse over the bars on the zoom slider, does your cursor change to a hand? Also are you trying to drag the slider, or just click it? Nickel
Yes, automatic image resizing is checked under Advanced Internet Options. When I look at those maps, I can't even see the zoom features or the slider. The map itself comes up, as well as the satellite image. Just no options for me to zoom in or out and scroll from side to side. I know that they are there because on an older computer they show up.
