World's Smallest Political Quiz

Conservatives tend to favor economic freedom, but frequently

support laws to restrict personal behavior that violates "traditional

values." They oppose excessive government control of business,

while endorsing government action to defend morality and the

traditional family structure. Conservatives usually support a strong

military, oppose bureaucracy and high taxes, favor a free-market

economy, and endorse strong law enforcement.

Definitely a Libertarian/centrist trend here...

In America, anyway, liberal means 'like Democrats'. I am nothing like Democrats.

The only obvious form of socialism i believe in is municipal utilities; welfare is abused; Social Security is abused; the First Amendment is abused (both ways, but in this case i'm talking about how 'liberals' try to use it to justify wiping out Christianity from public society); i'm anti-abortion; i don't support legalising drugs; i don't support Affirmative Action or any other government hand-outs based on coincidental traits like skin colour and gender and sexual preference; i don't support unnecessary fire-arm restrictions; i don't support a big government; i don't necessarily support the UN (it was a good idea, but it seems kinda broken now); i don't support socialised health care; i tend to think that capitalism works fairly well (better than socialism, anyway); i don't support research into certain science-related areas such as stem cells as heavily as they do.

Pretty much the only things i have in common with 'liberals' in America is that i disapprove of the use of religion in the government, i'm not particularly fond of big corporations (although i don't blame them for everything like Democrats tend to), i have a more forgiving view of certain crimes and 'alternative' life styles, and i fully support gay rights.

But, yeah, i didn't expect a whole lot from 'the world's smallest political quiz'. Just saying... if you're gonna spend the time to take the quiz, why not take one that's a little more meaningful.

well i'm from the states (could you tell?), so i know what it's like here, but we don't need to subscribe to any doctrines if we don't know what to. you have a conglomeration of viewpoints regarding hot-button issues. together, they're not discernibly "liberal" or "conservative," which is why i don't like those terms. as for me, i'm generally libertarian, which is my underlying premise.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 100%.

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 50%.

Liberal Libertarian

Well, 'liberal' and 'conservative' are still useful to describe some people. The problem is when people start to think that that's all there is to it.

LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal

matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"

to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,

defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action

to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 70%.

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 30%.

ACCORDING TO YOUR ANSWERS,

The political description that

fits you best is...

.

LIBERTARIAN

LIBERTARIANS support maximum liberty in both personal and

economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one

that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence.

Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose

government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate

diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

The RED DOT on the Chart shows where you fit on the political map.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%.

Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 80%.

(Please note: Scores falling on the Centrist border are counted as Centrist.)
