FireFox Problem.

Recommended Posts

I can be looking on Newoin and boom crashed, I take a look in task manager and there is sits at 166MB, whats up with this? Normally it just locks up and i have todo control alt delete to get rid of it because it spikes upward off 120MB or more. I can be doing anything and it takes a tizzy and locks up, i reinstalled it too same thing no addons or anything either. Thinking of dropping it and going to something else, but i like it!

Have you tried delecting the install folder and the personal folder.

Install Folder C:/Program Files/ Mozilla Firefox.

Personal Folder C:/Documents and Settings/Your Name/Application Data/ Mozilla.

To get to the personal Folder to show up you will need open explorer, click on tools, folder options, view, then click on, show hidden files and folders.

Please note delecting the personal folder you will loose everything, including your bookmarks, so back them up!

That is the WORST idea if a vanilla build isn't running properly.
