ChopSuey
Don't you wish your parents were this cool? Nashville parents get probation for hiring stripper for 16-year-old sonNASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A couple pleaded guilty Thursday to hiring a stripper for their son's 16th birthday party and were sentenced to two years probation. Landon and Anette Pharris, who were charged with contributing the delinquency of a minor, also were ordered to take parenting classes. The parents hired the stripper to perform at a September party attended by about a dozen young people. Cassandra Park, 29, who police say used the stage name Sassy, danced for a few hours before partygoers took up a collection and paid her $150 US more to fully disrobe, Anette Pharris said. The stripper and the man she was with were also granted probation. Police were tipped off to the party by a photo developer at a drug store who saw pictures of the occasion. Pharris said after being arrested that she tried to do something special for her son. "We even had grandpa there," she said. Source: Cnews

rishid
That is messed up. That is all there is to say about that. But is there any rules/law against photo developers towards judging or viewing photos given to them?

We can't judge the developers judgement, but they probably saw a stripper and a young looking lad, thought it was a bit strange, and you know... benefit of the doubt thing, report it anyway, let the police decide. bigbluepride35
sounds like who ever took the time to get them introuble needs to get a life. 586198346[/snapback] Not knowing what the context of the pictures were (if it was clear this was some party) and what Godzilla said (which I believe is accurate), and that the kid probably LOOKED underage, maybe the person was just concerned and had a conscience. And for me, parents buying their underage son a stripper or even regular pornography is just creepy. If my parents came to me and said, "Hey son, happy birthday, have some porn," I'd be a weee bit put off. Maybe that's just me and my own set of core principles but it just seems OFF. Deathray
Well unless the kid was naked and havig a banging good time :p I dont see what basis the photo developer had to call the cops. This is why people should invest in digital cameras lol

Malbojia
lol atleast they bought him one for the night and where under the supervision and not him going out to get a hooker and ending up with a STD. Thats why we got digital cameras now. No need for the 3rd party to get involved.

fahmi_r
i dont think doing that is a good parenting example. thats just too much for a child to be doing and at the same time being supported by his parents.
